Product Description Features 5 Year Bottle Fully Adjustable regulator Fully rebuildable regulator Lifetime Limited Warranty on Regulator User replaceable bonnet New V3.0 Fill Nipple provides greater longevity
Product Description The 48 is Pure Energy's entry-level air system. This system combines a compact bottle and the top-of-the-line Pure Energy Reactor regulator. The Pure Energy Reactor regulator has a preset output pressure set between 800-900 PSI. This air-system works great with any marker on the market, from Piranhas to Angels. Because Pure Energy Reactor regulators are now re-buildable, this system is one of the most user-friendly, screw-in air systems in paintball. On most markers you can expect to get 400-600 shots from a full fill. With the CFT piston and a streamlined setup, this air system is both extremely consistent over the chronograph and has very little drop off as you shoot the gas out of the tank (life of the fill). These are attributes sometimes found in much more expensive air systems packaged into a smaller, easier-to-use, screw-in system. Feature Detail: - 48 cubic inches aluminum bottle
- Consistent flow technology piston
- Mil-spec Belleville springs
- Dual safety rupture plugs for both bottle and downstream safety
- Mechanical gauge
- Nickel plated brass bonnet
- Certified fill nipple and dual locking set screws
Method of Operation: Preset screw-in air system Bottle: 48 cubic inches aluminum Power Supply: Compressed air or nitrogen Length: 11 inches Weight: 3.1 pounds

Great HPA Tank for those on a realistic budget March 15, 2010 Ken J (Pennsylvania, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I absolutely love this tank...I picked mine up at a local store for under $50 and I am completely happy with it. Solid construction, don't have to worry about covers, and works great off a remote line setup. Carbon fiber tanks are expensive and fragile, this tank is sturdy and ready for the weekend warrior, with a real life budget.
great entry level tank March 5, 2010 James W. Beer (New Milford, NJ USA) Just getting into HPA Tanks?? this is the perfect tank for you. I have used it for 6 months now and couldn't be happier. It is now my back up tank since i have to get a 4500psi for my cyclone and rt. bottom line, highly recommended for the price
NICE HPA TANK December 25, 2009 P.M. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my first HPA (high pressure air) tank and this is what I noticed compared against CO2:
-Bigger Size: you are able to shot more balls, 500 shots or more, but it depends on the marker you are using
-Consistency: no freezing experience, more estable shots
-Cleaner: no residues, I've read that HPA is also better for your marker as the orings last longer
-Heavier: as the tank is bigger you can expect more weight or purchase a carbon fiber HPA for lighter weight
-PSI Gauge: you can check the amount of air you have in the tank
I would recommend that if an HPA tank is purchased, you should also buy a Fill Station to fill it using a scuba tank as compress air is not as easy to fill as CO2 as there's more CO2 supply than HPA, that depends on the area you're living, in my case the Fill Station is a must!
This tanks needs to be hydrotested every 5 years (by a professional), every tank has a date indicating when to perform it.
Picture doesn't match product October 8, 2009 K. Sevy The picture shows a carbon fiber tank. The product description says it's aluminum. The product itself is aluminum, not carbon fiber, and doesn't look anything like the picture. Carbon fiber tanks are MUCH more expensive, and this kind of advertising is sneaky and dirty. Bad form, seller. Bad form.
